We provide independent financial planning and investment advice services for private clients, small businesses and trustees based mainly in London and the South East. The advice we offer is holistic and impartial, suggesting the best range of solutions within your agreed budget and putting your requirements first.

Transparent Fees, Impartial Advice, Personalised Services

The range of financial solutions and the number of different financial products and investments can be bewildering, but our advisers have years of experience, and can help you to decide the best solution for you.  We are transparent with our fees, explaining our payment terms and how much we charge. We are an independent financial advisers, not restricted by any affiliation with a financial institution or provider.

We are not a one-stop shop.  We build relationships with clients over many years and get to know them, and their families.  Nearly all of our new clients are referred to us by other clients, and in some cases we look after three generations of a family.  We have clients that have been with us for over 25 years.

Although a few clients may need one-off advice about a particular financial situation, we are keen to build customer relationships that work for you and suit your long-term financial interests, helping you make the right decisions for you and your family.

Our Financial Planning Process: How It Works

For new clients we follow the internationally recognised six stage Financial Planning Process, which we summarise below:

1) Data Gathering

We collect and analyse all personal information relevant to your financial situation, including savings and investments, pensions, your attitude to risk, health, and family.

2) Identify Financial Objectives & Problems

We work with you to find out what is important in your life now and in the future, including your aims, dreams and ambitions – getting an understanding of where you are now and where you want to be at different stages of your life.

3) Set Achievable Actions To Meet Your Goals

With an understanding of your financial objectives, we can analyse the strengths of your current situation and determine what needs to be done to meet your goals. This could involve a range of products and services, including analysing your assets and property, consolidating your liabilities, improving cash flow, looking at insurance cover, your tax strategies, investments and other matters.

4) Present Recommendations

We will create a bespoke plan to meet your goals – which may include a lifetime cash flow forecast to show how long your money will last. This will explain what you need to do to address your goals and get where you need to be. At this stage we will explain all of our recommendations clearly so you can make an informed choice, listen to your feedback and concerns and make revisions where necessary.

5) Implementation

Once a plan of action is agreed we can implement it on your behalf, co-ordinating the process where necessary with your other advisers, such as Accountants, Solicitors and pension providers.

6) Monitoring, Review & Revision

Your financial situation will change over time, and investments are always affected by external economic conditions.  It is therefore important to regularly monitor, review and amend your plan to ensure your goals are still being met, and maybe to adjust or add new goals as circumstances change. Your goals are likely to change during your early career (under 35), your midcareer (up to 55), your late career (up to 65 to 70), as you approach retirement, on early retirement, later retirement, and during periods of ill-health.
